WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU HAVE FOR SENIORS?
Seniors have access to all of the programs in the Department of Family Opportunities; however, the Home-Delivered Meals and Congregate Meals programs are primarily for seniors.

WHAT ARE THE HOME-DELIVERED AND CONGREGATE MEAL PROGRAMS? HOW CAN I SIGN UP FOR THEM?
The Home-Delivered Meals Program provides nutritious meals Monday-Friday to rural Hinds County senior citizens at least 60 years old or home-bound. Individuals must live in rural areas such as Edwards, Terry, Raymond, Utica, or Bolton.

The Congregate Meals Program provides an opportunity for seniors to gather and enjoy a healthy and nutritious meal through an intergenerational “sit down” fellowship-style lunch at one of our two Neighborhood Service Center locations: Edwards or Fannie Jackson. Seniors must be at least 60 years old or disabled and reside in Edwards, Terry, Raymond, Utica, or Bolton.

To sign up for either program, please call 601-923-3950.
