Dr. Tamara Jackson joined HCHRA in 2021 and serves as the Personnel Director. She holds a Master’s and Doctorate in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University with an emphasis in Human Resources Management and Program Management.

Before joining the team at HCHRA, she served as the Director of Human Resources for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

As personnel director, Dr. Jackson not only develops and administers agency policies, rules, and regulations for nearly 400 employees but also develops and administers training modules to create a more knowledgeable and skilled team.
