Program Overview

Affordable, convenient, and accessible transportation is available for seniors and disabled individuals in Hinds County through the Title XX Transportation Program. This program helps elderly residents maintain their independence by providing them with transportation to obtain goods and services, including medical and dental treatment, social services, and other applicable services.

In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Mississippi Department of Transportation assures that no persons on the basis of race, color, and national origin, including the denial of meaningful access for limited English proficient (LEP) persons, shall be discriminated against under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
