The Department of Property Management and Accountability is responsible for developing and enforcing policies, standards, and metrics that guarantee effective management, control, and accounting of Agency property while maintaining high accountability.

Harry J. Lane, III
Harry Lane serves as the Vice President for Property Management and Accountability. He attended Southern Illinois University & Jackson State University. He majored in Marketing at SIU and minored in Finance & Black American Studies. He served as Vice President of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a fraternity for students and industry professionals in Marketing and Sales Management.
While at JSU, he took additional courses in economics, political science, & property management. He is a former licensed Real Estate Agent who earned the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation–which allowed him to stand out to prospective home buyers and sellers as a realtor who has gained in-depth market knowledge, increased proficiency in a broad array of subjects to enhance professionalism and business success.
Harry has been with HCHRA since December 1979; He has served in several positions: from Assistant Energy Coordinator, Accountant, Director of Neighborhood Service Centers (DCP), Property Officer, and Property Officer/Building Manager to his current position. He is currently a member of the Mississippi Association of Governmental Purchasing and Property Agents.
