For health and safety reasons, Hinds County Human Resource Agency’s Central Office will be closing at 1:00 p.m on Friday, January 5, 2018, due to the loss of water pressure from a water main break caused by the severely low temperatures.
If you have an emergency need for assistance, please call 601-923-3950 and leave a message. A staff person will return your call as soon possible. If you already had an appointment for assistance, we will make every effort to reschedule you within the next few days. Please call 601.923.3950 to reschedule your appointment.
While the City of Jackson is working around the clock to repair the water issues, please remember there is a city-wide precautionary boil water notice for all Jackson residents.
Though Central Office will close early on January 5th, all Hinds County Human Resource Agency Head Start Centers and Neighborhood Service Centers will be open as usual during their normal hours of operation.
Please continue to check the website for updates regarding any changes to hours of operation while we work through this temporary inconvenience.
